Fractional CMO · Redemption Marketing

Ryan Cook is the founder of Redemption Marketing and a fractional CMO for home-service and home-improvement companies.

His experience spans agency leadership and an internal marketing leadership role at a home-service operator.

At Wit Digital, Ryan served as Director of Client Strategy, leading strategy for HVAC and plumbing clients. One of those clients, All Hours Plumbing, Heating and Air, later hired him as its Director of Marketing.

He subsequently served as COO and CRO at Dunzo before founding Redemption Marketing in July 2025.

That experience informs how he leads today: setting clear priorities, evaluating agency performance, developing internal teams, and connecting marketing decisions to business results.

The Origin

Why Redemption Marketing Exists

After years leading strategy at a marketing agency and then stepping inside a home-service operator as Director of Marketing, Ryan saw the same problem from both sides of the table.

Agencies often do their jobs in isolation. Owners are too busy running service operations to evaluate whether each vendor's work is producing results at the business level. No one is accountable for the marketing plan as a whole.

Redemption Marketing exists to fill that role. A fractional CMO practice built for owner-led home-service companies that are ready to run marketing like a business function, not a collection of vendor relationships.

Ryan works directly with owners and leadership teams, leads existing agencies and internal staff, and builds the reporting and accountability structures that let a company understand what its marketing investment is actually producing.

The Philosophy

Clarity without execution does not scale revenue.

Most owners already have reports, dashboards, and agencies. What they do not have is a single person accountable for decisions, priorities, and outcomes week after week.

Marketing is not a department problem. It is a leadership problem. The moment you put accountable leadership in place, vendors perform because someone is watching, KPIs move because someone is making decisions based on them, and the owner gets out of the middle.

Ryan works with a limited number of clients at any given time to ensure each engagement receives the attention it requires.

From the Field

What Clients Say

"Stepping into a marketing leadership role in an industry I was still learning came with a steep learning curve, especially as SEO and search continue evolving faster than most companies can adapt. Having a structured strategy already in place accelerated everything. Rather than spending months determining where to focus, I had a clear framework, data-backed priorities, and a defensible point of view I could bring to leadership immediately. Ryan quickly earned trust and respect across the organization through his intelligence, organization, and steady temperament, while consistently serving as a reliable source of strategic clarity and insight."
